Why UCI?

Being from Long Beach and having worked as a behavioral therapist in Orange County during my gap years, I liked the idea of serving the two communities I consider home through the UCI FMR program. I love the family feel of the program, how close-knit the residents are, how supportive the faculty are, and the program’s focus on serving the underserved. It’s truly amazing to have the opportunity to work alongside like-minded individuals to provide the best care for those who need it most. 

Medical Interests:

Women’s health, adolescent medicine, community health, integrative medicine

Hobbies:

Trying new food places, making charcuterie boards, roadtripping to explore national parks, hiking, pilates, crafting new drink concoctions (I used to be a boba barista), traveling, of course Netflix/Hulu/Apple TV-ing, and spending time with my family and friends.

Fun Fact(s):

I am a big foodie and have been Yelp Elite for 5 years!

Future Plans:

I want to work in the outpatient setting — I’d love to work at an FQHC and a community-based wellness center but open to new things that peak my interest during residency :)
