Why UCI?

It’s an institution that really centers the needs of the underserved, lots of opportunities to learn about integrative health, down-to-earth, supportive faculty that love teaching and happy residents, location close to my hometown, & I think this residency program is doing really exciting things with its community partnerships.

Medical Interests:

Mental Health, Community Medicine, Addiction Medicine, Reproductive Justice

Hobbies:

Rock-climbing, science fiction/fantasy/speculative lit, hiking, travel, eating new foods, cooking, spending time with friends and fam

Fun Fact(s):

I have watched over 99 horror movies!

Future Plans:

I’m envisioning a type of split schedule where I can work in a community health center part of the time but also have a clinic where I can do longer appointments with a focus on mental health. Considering a fellowship in Integrative Medicine or Behavioral Medicine.
