Class of 2021
Why UCI?
Having grown up in the area, I wanted the opportunity to work with and give back to my community. I was looking for a program that had a good balance between academic medicine and a strong connection with the community. I was blown away by the learning opportunities at UCI, which would make me a truly well-rounded Family Physician. I also appreciate the great effort the clinics make to help improve patient access to medical care, regardless of age, gender, socioeconomic status, etc. I am honored to be a part of such a great program and to be welcomed by such a wonderful Family of providers.
Medical Interests:
Underserved, Adolescent Health, Community Outreach, Preventative Women's Health, Integrative Medicine
Hobbies:
I love hanging out with friends, spending time with family, going to the beach, visiting National Parks, dancing, listening to music, and cooking (when I have the time).
Fun Facts:
I am a lifetime Girl Scout – I completed my Gold Award Project (which is equal to the Boy Scout Eagle Project) and hope to use my mentoring experiences from Scouts as a physician!
Future Plans:
I hope to continue working in the community here, in Orange County. I want to work in a setting where I can have opportunities to help educate patients and their families while also getting to know the people and their culture better on a personal level.
