Why UCI?

I loved how UCI was the perfect fusion of an academic medical center with an emphasis on community integration via the underserved communities of Santa Ana and Anaheim! Everyone who I met on my interview trail from UCI was so supportive, friendly, and passionate about the work they are doing everyday. It's a true family like environment with so many opportunities that can be tailored to your interests and passions.

Medical Interests:

Community medicine, adolescent health, and women's health

Hobbies:

Cooking, yoga, nail art, exploring coffee shops

Fun Fact(s):

I start most days listening to music and reading daily e-newsletters, I love pop culture and current events

Future Plans:

I hope to be able to continue to work with undeserved communities in an FQHC setting as well as do inpatient medicine. I am very interested in medical education/leadership and aim to take on a role as a mentor to undergraduate and medical students
